A couple in Toronto hired The Patch Dudes to quickly fix drywall in their bathroom. A section of the wall was cut and fitted with drywall, then joint compound was used to smooth out the seams. As soon as the compound was dry, the Patch Dudes sanded down the excess and smoothed out the edges. Having smoothed the edges, our team vacuumed the dust that remained after the sanding and began painting. They were able to find the perfect paint color for the wall. Having seen the results, the client asked if we could look at his kitchen ceiling as well.
The ceiling of this home was caving in a bit because the building was over 50 years old. The outlines of the home’s joists were visible in the ceiling- a clear indication that the drywall needed to be replaced immediately. Since the kitchen had pot lights, we marked their positions so we would know where to cut the holes when installing a new piece of drywall. A new slab of drywall was installed on top of the old ceiling drywall, and a fresh coat of paint was added. After re-installing the potlights, the job was completed and our clients were delighted with the outcome.
